Happy Birthday!
Joan Fredrich, principal at Holy Rosary School, Evansville, celebrates her birthday Feb. 7.
Student teacher
Allison Mesker is student teaching at Good Shepherd School, Evansville, this semester.
In the parent newsletter, she writes, “As a graduate of West-side Catholic and Mater Dei High School, I am very happy to be back in a Catholic school — this time on the other side of the desk. I am looking forward to getting to know you and your child. It is my hope that I will be a positive influence in their educational experience.”
Badminton!
For the next two or three weeks the seventh graders at Holy Family School, Jasper, will be focusing on badminton in their physical education class.
Their unit will consist of the basic shots, skills, rules and game strategy.
