Special deliveries
“This weekend will find many high school students and moms in the kitchen on the lower level of St. John Center making chili, potato soup, vegetable soup, brownies and angel food cake,” writes Shirley Jeffers, youth minister at the Loogootee parish.
“This is an annual service project that has been going on for about 15 years! We deliver delicious soup and dessert to over 65 homes in the community! A quick visit from these young folks means so much to those who are confined to their homes, those dealing with some health problems, or just to folks in their ‘golden years’ who deserve some pampering.”

Father Kenneth Herr, pastor at St. Boniface Church, Evansville, was ordained to the priesthood March 2, 1968.
Father Lowell Will, pastor of St. Clement Church, Boonville, and St. Rupert Church, Red Brush, was ordained to the priesthood March 2, 1968.
