Bishop’s anniversary of installation

Bishop Gerald A. Gettelfinger, fourth bishop of the Diocese of Evansville, was installed as bishop April 11, 1989.

Happy Birthday!

Father Clemens Hut, a retired priest of the Diocese of Evansville, celebrates his birthday April 9. He resides at Friendship Village, 2525 E. Southern Ave., Tempe, AZ 85282.

Father Alex Zenthoefer, associate director of Vocations, chaplain at Mater Dei and Memorial high schools, both in Evansville, and associate pastor at Holy Rosary Church, Evansville, celebrates his birthday April 10.

Deacon William Heberling of St. Agnes Church, Evansville, celebrates his birthday April 11.

Servant-leader

In a letter to parishioners at Holy Family Church, Jasper, St. Meinrad seminarian Pantaleon Lim writes, “I am a seminarian studying for the Diocese of Busan, South Korea. Being formed as a servant-leader at St. Meinrad with different culture and language has been a great blessing and joy.

“It is my pleasure to be at Holy Family parish. Thank you for your hospitality.” He will be helping at the Jasper parish for the next year and a half.
