Trilogy Health Services, LLC owns Scenic Hills as well as 52 other nursing centers in the Midwest. Trilogy challenges its employees to “give back” to their community, particularly to non-profit organizations, according to Deanna Youngs, vice president of the St Vincent de Paul Society in Ferdinand. The employees of Scenic Hills chose the St. Vincent de Paul Society as their organization to support because they believe in the work that Vincentians do.
Throughout the year, Scenic Hills employees have many fundraisers including staff lunches, bake sales, spaghetti dinners, pies, and cookie exchanges. Some of the staff offer their vacation hours to support this endeavor. All monies made go into this annual, generous donation to St. Vincent de Paul Society.
Besides giving this money donation, Scenic Hills employee help St. Ferdinand Parish with their “Giving Tree” at Christmas time. They add to the parish’s gifts with baskets of food, toys, and other items. They have also provided turkeys for families in need.
