Comprehensive Wound Care at St. Mary’s
St. Mary’s has opened a Wound Care Clinic and relocated its other wound care facilities to one easily accessible location. Joslin Diabetes Center, the Diabetic Foot Clinic and the Podiatry Clinic are now all located at 3801 Bellemeade Ave., Suite 110, in the Bellemeade Office Building on St. Mary’s campus.
The Wound Care Clinic offers comprehensive wound care for patients of all ages, including: diabetic foot ulcers, neuropathic wounds, venous stasis ulcers, arterial ulcers, burns, traumatic wounds, animal and insect bites, pressure ulcers, cellulitis, venous insufficiency and lymphedema-related wounds. The Joslin Diabetes Center provides a comprehensive approach to advanced care for diabetes. Services include: diabetes education/self-management classes, nutrition classes, insulin pump instruction, gestational diabetes teaching, diabetes screenings and other community events and programs. The Diabetic Foot Clinic is the only facility of its kind within two hours of Evansville that provides a full service multidisciplinary approach utilizing podiatry, vascular surgery, orthopedic surgery and other healthcare providers.
