School physicals and immunizations
The School Community Council, in collaboration with St. Mary’s Children’s Services, Vanderburgh County Department of Health, ECHO Community Health Care and the Courier & Press Young Reader Services, are sponsoring free school physicals and immunizations for uninsured kindergarten through 12th grade students who are residents of Vander-burgh County.
The event is scheduled for 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thurs-day, July 16 at St. Mary’s Center for Children located at 3900 Washington Avenue in Evansville.
School physicals and immunizations will be provided free of charge for school-age children without insurance who live in Vanderburgh County.
The child must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian and they must have their current im-munization record.
Various agencies will be on-site providing health education materials and assistance with Hoosier Healthwise enrollment.
