Matthew Kelly to speak in Newburgh Oct. 21, 22

Matthew Kelly, author and speaker, will be at St. John the Baptist Church in Newburgh on Oct. 21 and 22.

For two nights, at 7 p.m., he will talk to audiences about what he calls “becoming the version of themselves that God intended.” People age 12 and older are invited to attend; there is no cost and seating is available on a first-come, first-serve basis.

He was born in Sydney, Australia, where he began his lay ministry in 1993. Since that time, he has spoken to more than three million people in 50 countries and authored 12 books, including “The Rhythm of Life,” “The Seven Levels of Intimacy,” “The Dream Manager,” “Building Better Families,” and “Re-discovering Catholicism.”

The Oct. 21 speech is entitled “Perfectly Yourself: Nine Lessons for Enduring Happiness,” and the Oct. 22 speech is entitled “Is Catholicism Still Relevant?”
