Two books for every Catholic home
“There are two books which every Catholic should have in their homes: The Bible and the ‘Catechism of the Catholic Church,” writes Father Ron Kreilein, pastor at St. Raphael Church, Dubois, and St. Peter Celestine Church, Celestine.
“These are our blueprints, guides, roadmaps, or whatever you want to call them, to help us live a good life and to get to heaven.”

Supporting ALS research
Last Friday, students and fam-ilies at Resurrection School in Evansville participated in a walk around their school in support of ALS research.
“Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, or ALS, is a disease of the nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord that control voluntary muscle movement,” said Angie Johnson, principal. “ALS is also known as Lou Gehrig’s disease. This walk is a TeenPower project designed to honor the memory of Barb Raben, the mother of sixth grader Wyatt Raben, who died this year from ALS.”

Hospitality, Community Building
Brande Springer is the chair-person of the Hospitality and Community Building Commission at Holy Rosary Church in Evansville.
