Around the Diocese

During November

“I encourage you to visit the graves of your loved ones during November,” writes Father John Boeglin in the parish news-letter at Holy Family Church, Jasper.

“It is important to take our children with us to remember their deceased relatives. We can not live as if there is no death and afterlife. Children need to see us honor our beloved dead.

“Each day is a gift from God. Let us treasure each other. We never know the time or date when we will receive the call to our Creator. Death is not an end, but a new life with God.”
