Classes
Safe Sitter Classes, Dec. 30, 8:30 a.m-3:45 p.m.., held in meeting rooms four and five at St. Mary’s, Evansville; teaches boys and girls ages 11-13 how to handle emergencies when caring for children; $55 fee includes student manual, messenger bag, list of important phone numbers, books to read to children, flashlight; $15 scholarships available based on financial need; participants need to bring a sack lunch; for information and to enroll your child or babysitter call (812) 485-5607.
Support Groups
Anxiety/Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, second Wednesday of each month, 7 p.m., St. Anthony’s Center of Family Life, Evansville; trained facilitator provides the participants opportunity for sharing life experience as well as education, advocacy and coping skills; for more information call (812) 426-2640; sponsored by Mental Health America.
