Students at St. James School, Haubstadt, have collected a total of 4,062 pounds of aluminum during the local “Cans for Cash” challenge sponsored by Alcoa Warrick Operations and Keep Evansville Beautiful.

Student Council expenditures
The Student Council at Good Shepherd School, Evansville, thanks “all the students and parents who supported the Christ-mas card/candy cane sale.”
The Student Council uses its funds to help with various activities and projects for the school. Recent expenses for November and December in-cluded
- $162.08 for postage for Prayer Partner and our troops’ cards;
- $76.28 for Advent projects;
- $150 in gift cards for our adopted Iraqi family;
- $50 to Food for the Poor;
- $100 to the St. Vincent De Paul Food Pantry;
- $50 to St. Vincent’s Day Care Center.
Men’s Club Officers
New officers of the Men’s Club at Holy Spirit Church, Evansville, include Phil Luecke, president; Chris Wolf, vice-president; Bob Head, treasurer, and Steve DeHaven, secretary.
