Clases Bilingües en Washing-ton, Las clases bilingües continúan en Washington. Las clases de conversación se llevan a cabo los Martes de 6:30 a 8:00 p.m. en el Centro Parroquial de la Iglesia Nuestra Señora de la Esperanza. La próxima clase de cocina se llevará a cabo el 16 de Enero a mediodía en la cocina de la Escuela Primaria Católica de Washington. Adolfo Sánchez dirigirá al grupo a hacer pollo rellenado con vegetales, sopa de tomate y ajo, arroz, y bananas fritas. No hay costo para las clases pero se aceptan donaciones

Fortalecimiento de las Familias, El Guadalupe Center en colaboración con Youth First ha ofrecido dos veces el programa “Fortalecimiento de las Familias” en Español para familias con niños/as de 10-14 años. Este programa intenta ayudar a jóvenes de 10 a 14 años y a sus familias a construir familias fuertes mientras aprenden nuevas habilidades. Los jóvenes aprenden como hacer decisiones saludables y buenas, y a los padres se les da sugerencias de cómo lidiar con los conflictos familiares entre hijos y padres.

A partir de Febrero, el Guada-lupe Center ofrecerá el primer programa para familias con niños/as de 6 a 9 años. Dicho programa se llevará a cabo los Domingos con una participación mínima de por lo menos 10 familias inscritas. Si usted quiere participar en este programa en Español, favor llamar al Guadalupe Center Cen-ter para más información. Este programa es patrocinado por Youth First, Inc. y el Welborn Baptist Foun-dation.
