Seminarian inspired by priest’s love for Christ, Eucharist
Seminarians for the Diocese of Evansville gathered for their annual retreat at Sarto Retreat House in Evansville in August 2009, prior to their return to formal seminary studies in the fall. Each participant filled out a brief questionnaire for this series.
William L Dunn Jr., 29, is a member of Holy Rosary Church in Evansville.
He is in his second year of philosophy studies at St. Meinrad School of Theology.
He is the son of the late William and Frances Dunn of Lafayette, Ind. He has four siblings, Johnna Cameron, Heather Dunn, Denise Mitchel and Shannon Neff.
How did you spend your summer? At St. Mary Church in Ireland, and in Lafayette, Ind.
What was the best thing (or maybe, what were the highlights) of your summer? Getting to know Father Zach Etienne.
What are the courses/subject matter of the year ahead? Second year of philosophy.
Since this is the Year for Priests, can you identify a priest who has had an influence on your life? What was the influence? Father Tim Alkire [a priest of the Diocese of Lafayette], who is in love deeply with Jesus Christ and the Eucharist.
