Annual Rogation Day at Mariah Hill church
Thursday, March 25, 6:40 p.m. CDT
The parish of Mary, Help of Christians in Mariah Hill, along with the Diocesan Office of Catholic Rural Life, will offer the annual Rogation Service to pray for favorable weather, protection from natural disasters and for a fruitful harvest.
Participants are invited to gather in the parish hall at 6:30 p.m. CDT and process to the church for Mass. Participants are encouraged to bring a bag of seed and soil to be blessed at the end of Mass. This service is for all who eat and care for the earth.
