Update on the Tuition Assistance Fund in the Diocese of Evansville
The Tuition Assistance Fund of Southern Indiana continues to move forward with the appointment of the new Board of Directors. They are: Helen Christian (Evansville Day School Community), Kevin Clark (Evansville Christian School Community), Andrew Krempp (Dubois County Community), and Mark Samila (Evansville Catholic Community). The office is currently reviewing applications for the position of Director for the new Scholarship Granting Organization.
The Scholarship Tax Credit allows for donors to receive a 50 percent Indiana Tax Credit on their gifts which will be used to grant scholarships based on financial need to students entering an accredited private school in the 12 county area of Southern Indiana. The office will be accepting grant applications and will be working with an outside company to review grant applications once the Director has been named.
