Knights of Columbus present awards to support vocations
The Washington Fourth Degree Knights of Columbus, Lawrence A. Vieck Assembly, celebrated their twenty-second “Vocation Appreciation Dinner” on Feb. 18.
As in previous years, designated seminarians and women novices were recognized and were each given a $500 monetary gift to help with their education costs.
This year’s award was presented by Rick Flynn, Grand Knight of Washington Council 630, to Jeff Reed. George Wiltz, Faithful Navigator of the Lawrence A. Vieck Assembly also provided an award to Jeff Reed. Sue Garrett of the Washington Ladies Auxiliary presented an award to Julia Allison. The Father Ryan Council 6679 of Linton presented awards to seminarian Jeff Reed and to novice Julia Allison by Tom Long, Grand Knight.
