Way of the Cross in Vincennes
The Greater Vincennes Ministerial Association has announced plans for the second Good Friday Outdoor Way of the Cross Walk. Pastors from all churches in the city will participate in this unified worship experience, to begin at noon on Friday, April 2 at the steps of the Old Cathedral.
At each station a local clergyperson will lead the group in a brief meditation. Everyone is in-vited to come and participate.
Live Way of the Cross in Evansville
The Nativity Church youth group will present a reenactment of the Way of the Cross, on Good Friday, April 2, at 4:30 p.m. Nativity is located at 3635 Pollack Avenue in Evansville.

‘Come and See’
The Sisters of Providence of St. Mary-of-the-Woods will host a “Come and See Weekend” March 26-28. Young Catholic women who are exploring a call to religious life are invited to attend the event at Saint Mary-of-the-Woods.

Asthma Camp for kids in Evansville
St. Mary’s Health System will once again help sponsor Camp Notta-Gonna-Wheeze, an asthma camp for Evansville Vanderburgh School Corporation and parochial school children in kindergarten through fifth grade.
The free camp will host 50 students, from Monday, March 22 through Friday, March 26 from 7:30 a.m. until 2 p.m., at Delaware Elementary School, 700 North Garvin Street in Evansville.

‘Much Ado About Nothing’ and ‘Lord of the Flies’ at St. Meinrad
National Players, America’s longest-running classical touring company, will present two plays at St. Meinrad Archabbey on April 16 and 17.
The free performances will be “Much Ado About Nothing” on Friday, April 16, and “Lord of the Flies” on Saturday, April 17. The public is welcome to attend. Both plays begin at 7 p.m. CST in St. Bede Theater.
Before each performance, a buffet supper will be available for $9 per person from 5:30-6:15 p.m. in Newman Dining Room. Reservations are required for the meal and should be made before April 9.

Applications being accepted for Providence Associates
The Sisters of Providence of St. Mary-of-the-Woods are currently accepting applications from persons interested in becoming Providence Associates for the 2010-2011 year.
Providence Associates are women and men (at least 18 years of age) of diverse faith traditions who seek a formal relationship with the Sisters of Providence. They may have known the sisters for a long time or have just recently heard about the sisters. Associates are drawn to this relationship with the Sisters of Providence for many reasons, but primarily, they wish to deepen their spiritual life and they see themselves as being called to respond to the Providence vision through their own particular way of life.
