‘Living in the present moment’

Sisters of St. Benedict of Ferdinand are offering a program, “Living in the Present Mo-ment,” that will explain some simple ways to be more present in your daily life.

The program will be held Saturday, April 24, at Kordes Center in Ferdinand. After a breakfast snack at 9 a.m. EDT, the program begins at 9:15 a.m. EDT and concludes with lunch at 12:15 p.m. EDT. It will be presented by Benedictine Sister Anita Louise Lowe.

Spiritual masters have long praised the value of living in the present moment in order to have a balanced, healthy life. However, many people spend so much time reliving the past or anticipating the future that they miss the gift God gives in the present. The program will enable a better appreciation of the wonders of God’s world.

Program cost is $40. Registration is due April 21. For more information, or to register, call (800) 880-2777, or (812) 367-1411, ext. 2915, or visit www.thedome.org/programs.
