Around the Diocese
Vocations
In a letter to parishioners at St. Peter Church, Montgomery, and All Saints Church, Can-nelburg, Father James Koressel writes, “Father Ryan [Hil-derbrand] and I have reached out to our current seminarians to offer them all the support we can give them.
“Often, this amounts to having them as our guests at St. Peter rectory for a meal and social time. We support them in many other ways that go un-noticed. Even though there is some small financial commitment from our parishes for these efforts, I think it is worth it.”
He said, “I am convinced of the goodness and faithfulness of our seminarians. I pray for them all each day. It takes much courage to make the choice to serve God as a priest in His Church.”
He added, “I ask that you keep praying for vocations to the priesthood and religious life.”
