375 Catholic high school seniors will receive 2010 diplomas

Three-hundred seventy-five seniors will receive their high school diplomas this year in the four Catholic high schools operated by parishes in the Diocese of Evansville.
Graduation ceremonies in the diocese begin in Washington.
Washington Catholic High School will hold graduation ceremonies on Saturday, May 22, at 10:30 a.m. in the school gym. Bishop Gerald A. Gettelfinger will be conferring the diplomas to the 20 graduating seniors.
This year, Washington Catholic has three valedictorians: Kasey LaGrange, Caitlin Mc-Cain and Rachel Wichman. They are the daughters of Duane and Diane LaGrange, Michael and Melisa McCain, and Mark and Debbie Wichman.
Hillary Holland is salutatorian. She is the daughter of Peggy and Ken Holland.
One-hundred twenty-eight seniors at Mater Dei High School, Evansville, will receive their 2010 diplomas on May 22, at a 1 p.m. ceremony at the Victory Theatre in downtown Evansville.
Bishop Gettelfinger will confer the diplomas. Justin Clements will be the guest speaker.
Kayla Lydon is Mater Dei’s valedictorian. She is the daughter of Tom and Angie Lydon.
Dante Grasso and Erin Kelley are salutatorians. They are the children of Robert and Dana Grasso and Keith and Christina Kelley.
This year’s graduation ceremonies for the 205 seniors at Memorial High School, Evansville, will be held at 4 p.m., May 22, at the Victory Theater.
Bishop Gettelfinger will confer the diplomas.
The four valedictorians will be the speakers. They include Tess Funke, the daughter of Dr. Tony and Bonnie Funke, Andrew Kasha, the son of Dr. Ed and Becky Kasha, Katherine Loehr, the daughter of Dr. Tho-mas and Connie Loehr, and Sarah Scheidel, the daughter of John and Kathy Scheidel.
Twenty-two seniors at Rivet High School, Vincennes, will receive their 2010 diplomas from Bishop Gettelfinger on May 28. Graduation begins at 6 p.m., and will be held in the Ralph Holscher Gymnasium
Rivet’s valedictorian is Victoria Brocksmith, and Rachel Sievers is salutatorian. They are the daughters of Mike and Susan Brocksmith and Dan and Donna Sievers.
