40, 45 years of service
Teachers in diocesan schools recognized for anniversaries

Teachers who completed significant years of service at the end of the 2009-2010 school year will be recognized at the annual Back to School gathering Aug. 5 at St. John the Baptist School in Newburgh.
FORTY-FIVE YEARS
• Becky Larson teaches family and consumer science at Mater Dei High School in Evansville. She joined the faculty at Mater Dei in 1977. From 1967 to 1977, she taught at St. Boniface School in Evansville, and from 1965 to 1967, she taught at Sacred Heart School in Evansville.
FORTY YEARS
• Jane Carie teaches math at Rivet Middle School in Vincennes; she joined the Rivet faculty in 1971. From 1969 to 1971, she taught at St. John the Baptist School in Vincennes.
• Matt Keller has been a member of the Rivet High School faculty in Vincennes since 1972; he is a science teacher. From 1969 to 1972, he taught at Sacred Heart School in Vincennes, and his first teaching job in the Diocese of Evansville was at St. John School in Loogootee.
• Lorinda Wallace is a forty-year member of the faculty at Holy Cross School in Fort Branch. She teaches first grade.
