Recent appointments
Kristin Werne, M.D. was recently appointed to the Medical Staff at Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center. She specializes in obstetrics and gynecology and has joined Drs. Scott Beckman and Steven Hopf at Jasper Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Dr. Werne received her medical degree at Indiana University School of Medicine, and recently completed a residency in obstetrics and gynecology at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis. Dr. Werne and her husband, Dr. Nick Werne, now live in Jasper.
Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center recently appointed Nicholas Werne, M.D. to the Medical Staff. Dr. Werne specializes in internal medicine and has joined Drs. Hopkins, Campbell and Fehr-enbacher at Internal Medicine of Dubois County.
Dr. Werne received his medical degree at Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis, and completed a residency in internal medicine at Ball Memorial Hospital in 2007. Prior to relocating back home to Jasper with his wife, Dr. Kristin Werne, Dr. Werne worked as a hospitalist at St. Vincent Carmel Hospital in Carmel, Indiana.
Dr. Werne is a Diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine and a member of the American College of Physicians.
Tom Henderson, M.D., is a new member of the Emergency Department at St. Mary’s Health System in Evansville.
Dr. Henderson has experience working in the Emergency Department at Yakima Valley Memorial Hospital in Yakima, Wash.
He completed an Emergency Medicine Residency at York Hospital in York, Pennsylvania, where he was the Chief Resident for the Class of 2009.
Dr. Henderson earned his Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from the Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia, Pa. in 2006.
He is a member of the Emergency Medicine Residents Association, the American College of Emergency Physicians and the American Academy of Emergency Medicine.
