35 years of service

Teachers in diocesan schools recognized for anniversaries

Teachers who completed significant years of service at the end of the 2009-2010 school year will be recognized at the annual Back to School gathering Aug. 5 at St. John the Baptist School in Newburgh.

THIRTY-FIVE YEARS

• Franciscan Sister Irma Arnold is a fourth grade teacher at St. James School in Haubstadt.

She joined the Haubstadt faculty in 2004. From 1975 to 2004, she taught at St. Wendel School in St. Wendel, and from 1974 to 1975, she taught at St. Joseph School in Princeton.

• Debbie Haton is a 35-year member of the faculty at Mater Dei High School in Evansville where she teaches math.

• Sheila Hoehn joined the faculty at Memorial High School in Evansville in 1977. She also taught for two years at Rivet High School in Vincennes. She is a business and technology teacher.

• First grade teacher Mary Lynn Wilson is a 35-year member of the faculty at Washington Catholic Elementary School in Washington.

• Donna Woehler, third grade teacher at St. Benedict Cathedral School in Evansville, joined the faculty there in 1975.
