Catholic Committee on Girl Scouting presents religious emblems
Religious emblems were presented May 16 to Brownies, Girl Scouts and adult counselors from several parishes in the diocese, at St. John the Evangelist Church in Daylight. The ceremonies were sponsored by the Catholic Committee on Girl Scouting for the Diocese of Evansville.
Mary, the First Disciple
Emblems were presented to cadette members of Troop 372 from St. John the Baptist Church in Newburgh: Miranda Pepe, Emily Kropfl, Torrey Alumbaugh and Sarah Heitzman. Kathy Pepe was the counselor.
An emblem was presented to Sidney Eckert of Troop 195, from St. Mary Church, Huntingburg. Donna Eckert was the counselor.
Emblems were presented to Claire Egler and Mallory Schnaus of Troop 228, from St. Mary Church, Ireland. The counselors were Cathy Egler and Charlotte Schnaus.
Emblems were presented to members of Troop 95, from Holy Redeemer Church in Evansville: Ashley Keller, Mallory Mills and Olivia Wampler. The counselor was Pam Wampler.
I Live My Faith
Emblems were presented to Junior members Jazziman Cissell and Emily Eckert of Troop 408, from St. Henry Church in St. Henry and St. Mary Church in Huntingburg. Their counselors were Michelle Cissell and Donna Eckert.
Emblems were presented to Amanda Aldridge and Grace Bassler of Troop 260, from Our lady of Hope Church, Washington. Yvonne Aldridge and and Julie Bassler were their counselors.
Emblems were presented to members of Troop 352, from St. Anthony Church in St. Anthony and Sacred Heart Church in Schnellville: Miranda Sermersheim, Keirsten Haas, Hailey Thayer and Rachel Hoffman. Cheryl Haas and Janice Thayer were the counselors.
Family of God
Emblems were presented to Brownie members of Troop 110, Our Lady of Hope, Washington: Anna Barber, Catherine Bassler, Kelly Garcia, Lily Jansen, Rylea Klingle, Sarah Lancaster and Keonia Thomas. Their coordinator was Julie Bassler.
Emblems were presented to members of Troop 208, from Holy Spirit Church, Evansville: Lauren Eger, Cecelia Kaiser, Audrey Wilson and Jessica Armstead. Their coordinator was Sheila Wilson.
Emblems were presented to members of Troop 505, from Good Shepherd Church, Evansville: Grace Martin, Baylynn Mossman, Clarice Block, Elise Deeg, Sarah Fruit and Laura Ann Shafer. Their coordinator was Cindy Block.
Emblems were presented to members of Troop 39, from St. John the Baptist Church, New-burgh: Alexa Albin, Rachel DeLancey, McKenna Herr, Olivia Huelsing, Grace Mohr, Sophia Thompson and Catherine Wessel. Their coordinator was Wendy Nohalty.
Brownies from three troops received their Family of God emblems at their own parishes.

LeAndra Pund and Jaylyn Giesler from Troop 349 at St. Mary Church, Huntingburg; Phyllis Pund was the coordinator.
Jade Bateman of Troop 47, at St. Raphael Church, Dubois; Grendlyn Cannon was the coordinator.
Madison Giesler and Kylie Krempp, of Troop 504 at Holy Family Church in Jasper; Shelly Hedinger was their coordinator.
St. Elizabeth Ann Seton adult emblems were presented to Cathy Egler of St. Mary Church, Ireland; Julie Bassler of Our Lady of Hope Church, Washington; Donna Eckert of St. Mary Church, Huntingburg; Kathy Pepe of St. John the Baptist Church, Newburgh, and Deacon Charles Koressel of Holy Trinity Church, Evansville.
