Memorial students, grads to stage benefit

“Revusical! The Musical” is the name given by a group of Memorial High School graduates to a cabaret celebrating a variety of showtunes from musicals of the past and present.

Performances July 23 and 24 will benefit the Little Sisters of the Poor and Youth Resources, both in Evansville.

Led by 2008 graduates Erica Becker, Christopher Swader and Justin Swader, the production showcases the talents of 12 Memorial students and alumni.

Becker will be a junior at Western Kentucky University, pursuing a BFA in Musical Theater. Christopher and Justin Swader will be juniors at Ball State University, studying Directing and Theatre Design and Technology, with an emphasis in scenic design.

The performances will be at St. Benedict Cathedral Audi-torium, 530 South Harlan Avenue in Evansville, on Friday, July 23 at 7:30 p.m. and again on Saturday, July 24 at 7:30 p.m.

The suggested donation of $5 will benefit the Little Sisters of the Poor and Youth Resources.
