40 new teachers join the staffs of diocesan schools

There are 40 new teachers in Catholic schools throughout the Diocese of Evansville this year, according to the Catholic Schools Office. This group includes first year teachers and teachers who have previous teaching experience who are in new locations.

Donna Halverson, assistant superintendent of schools, said, “We are very pleased to add 30 first year teachers to our diocese this year! Our first year teachers’ meeting is one of my favorite meetings of the year. It is such a joy to see these teachers begin their careers with us. They are enthusiastic, energetic and ready to ‘make a difference’ in the lives of the students that they teach every day!”

This year’s group of new teachers includes
