Three physicians join St. Mary’s Health System
St. Mary’s Health System announces the following new physician hires: Dr. Matthew Gilbert and Dr. Ryan Bass have joined St. Mary’s Emergency Department, and Dr. Ian McQuistan has joined St. Mary’s Hospitalist Fellowship program.
• Dr. Gilbert completed an emergency medicine residency at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria, Ill. He earned his doctor of medicine degree from the St. Louis University School of Medicine in St. Louis.
• Dr. Bass completed an emergency medicine residency at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, Neb. He earned his doctor of osteopathic medicine degree at Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kirksville, Mo.
He is a member of the Society of Academic Emergency Medicine, the American College of Emergency Physicians, the American Academy of Emergency Medicine and the American Medical Association.
• Dr. McQuistan completed a family medicine residency at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines, Iowa. He earned his doctor of osteopathic medicine degree at A.T. Still University in Kirksville, Mo.
He is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the Society of Hospital Medicine.
