Workshop offered for RCIA
The Diocesan RCIA Committee is offering a workshop for RCIA coordinators and RCIA team members on Tuesday, Aug. 2, from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Catholic Center in Evansville.
This workshop is specifically designed to help those who are charged with RCIA responsibilities and not intended to be an advocate training program.
Father Kenneth Walker and Mary Gen Blittshau, canon lawyers in the Tribunal, will present pertinent questions which an RCIA coordinator should ask during the inquiry stage when someone wants to become a member of the Catholic Church and has a previous marriage. They will explain the different types of annulments and dissolutions.
This workshop will cover practical examples and give a basic overview of the process and the time that it takes to resolve cases.
There is no charge for the workshop.
