Mary F. Thomas scholarships given at Good Shepherd
Three parishioners at Good Shepherd Church in Evansville are this year’s recipients of the Mary F. Thomas scholarships. Thomas was the fourth principal at Good Shepherd School.
- Lucas Stippler, the son of Jon and Susan Stippler, received the achievement award. He is a graduate of Reitz Memorial High School in Evansville.
- Lacie Folz received the humanitarian award. She is a graduating eighth grader, and the daughter of Don and Mary Folz. The junior high teachers rated each of the eighth graders on politeness and manners, religious participation, general attitude and service to others. She received the highest overall ranking.
- Megan O’Leary received the scholastic award which is given to the eighth grader with the highest grade point average. She is the daughter of John Michael and Sharon O’Leary.
