In gratitude for Jim and Ann Cavera
Deacon Jim and Ann Cavera have been part of the Message family since Sept. 5, 1997, dedicating their weekly column “to making the most of the second half of our lives.”
They have added to the lives of Message readers every week until this final week of 2011, sharing their faith in the God of the great and the small.
Their words have won awards from the Catholic Press Association of the United States and Canada. They set an incomparable record of meeting deadlines. Each week they set the table for us and gave us nourishment for our spirits.
We thank you, Jim and Ann. You have been for our readers — and for me personally — the occasion of many blessings.
